In addition to her law degree from the University of Ottawa, Bela Kosoian also has a Master’s degree in Political Science from Western University and an undergraduate degree in International Law and International Relations from the Université de Québec à Montréal.

Bela has strong interpersonal skills and extensive professional experience assisting clients belonging to various ethnocultural groups. In addition to English and French, Bela is also fluent in Russian, Georgian and Armenian.

Bela’s devotion to law has taken her all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada as a litigant, where she won an important case impactful to Canadians.

A former FIDE Woman Candidate Master, Bela enjoys playing chess online in her free time.
